The latest tax data released by the State Taxation Administration shows that in the first three quarters, China's economy has been operating overall steadily, with progress in stability, accelerated development of new quality productive forces, steady progress in the unified large market, and accelerated green and low-carbon transformation, showing positive highlights in various fields such as industry, new momentum industries, equipment renewal, and consumer goods exchange for the old.

In the first three quarters, the sales revenue of industrial enterprises nationwide increased by 3.6% year-on-year. Among them, the equipment manufacturing industry increased by 5.3% year-on-year, especially the computer, communication equipment manufacturing industry, and the instrument manufacturing industry, which are advanced manufacturing industries, developed well, with year-on-year increases of 13.5% and 10.5%, respectively. In September, the sales revenue of the equipment manufacturing industry increased by 4.2% year-on-year, accelerating by 1.5 percentage points compared to August.

In the first three quarters, the sales revenue of the high-tech industry increased by 11.6% year-on-year. Among them, the high-tech service industry and the high-tech manufacturing industry increased by 13.7% and 8.6% year-on-year, respectively, reflecting the continuous strengthening of innovative industries. The sales revenue of the core industries of the digital economy increased by 7.7% year-on-year, reflecting the steady progress of digital industrialization. In September, the sales revenue of the high-tech industry and the core industries of the digital economy increased by 11% and 4.9% year-on-year, respectively, accelerating by 2.1 and 1.3 percentage points compared to August.

In the first three quarters, driven by large-scale equipment renewal policies, the amount of machinery and equipment purchased by enterprises nationwide increased by 6.5% year-on-year, with a year-on-year increase of 5% in September, accelerating by 2.4 percentage points compared to August. Driven by national encouragement, local government support, and corporate concessions, the retail of household audio-visual equipment such as televisions and daily household appliances such as refrigerators increased by 10.2% and 6.5% year-on-year, respectively; furniture retail related to home decoration and sanitary ware retail increased by 13.9% and 10.5% year-on-year, respectively. In September, the sales revenue of the above four industries increased by 29.6%, 16.3%, 7%, and 6.2% year-on-year, respectively, all significantly faster than the growth rate in August.

In the first three quarters, the sales revenue of the ecological protection and environmental governance industry increased by 11.4% year-on-year, with a year-on-year increase of 12.7% in September. The green technology service industry, including new energy, energy-saving, and environmental protection, increased by 22.5%, 18.7%, and 6% year-on-year, respectively. The clean energy industry maintained a relatively fast growth rate, with solar, hydro, and wind power generation increasing by 30.3%, 13.6%, and 10.9% year-on-year, respectively; the new energy vehicle manufacturing industry increased by 31.8% year-on-year.
